Nigeria v Libya: Sixteen players now in Eagles camp

Leon Balogun has arrived in camp
The number of players in the Super Eagles camp has risen to sixteen as the players get set for their first training session at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo on Tuesday evening.

Ogenyi Onazi, Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo, Henry Onyekuru and Kenneth Omeruo touched down in Uyo at about 1.40pm on Tuesday to raise the number to sixteen.

Alex Iwobi, Ahmed Musa, Leon Balogun, Shehu Abdulahi, Ola Aina, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Chidozie Awaziem arrived early on Tuesday joining up with Semi Ajayi, Moses Simon and William Troost Ekong who hit camp on Monday.

The camp opened in Uyo on Monday, October 8, 2018 with three players arriving on the first day.

The rest of the team are expected to arrive on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the team’s first training session will be on Tuesday at 5 pm local time.

The team trains again on Wednesday. Both session will be open to the media and public.

Sessions on Thursday and Friday will be closed, save for the first fifteen minutes.

Nigeria is 3rd on the table with 3 points behind Libya and South Africa who have 4 each.
