Super Eagles Watch: Emem Eduok returns to scoring ways in Europe

Emem Eduok was on target for Kasimpasa as he scored the 3rd in their 4 - 0 thrashing of Istanbul Basaksehi over the weekend.

Brown Ideye was also on target as Olympiacos moved 13 points clear on the log.

Alex Iwobi was on display as the Gunners outgunned Hull City in an entertaining encounter that saw Alexis Sanchez score twice.

Iwobi put on a good show and was substituted in the 82minute the game ended Arsenal 2 Hull City 0

Isaac Success was an 82nd minute substitute as Watford suffered their first loss in three games when they fell to Manchester United 2-0.

Success was enterprising but had too little time to make an impact. Full time Manchester United 2 Watford 0

Victor Moses provided the assist for Chelsea's only goal as they played out a frustrating draw at Burnley.

Moses was taken pulled off in the 72nd minute as Chelsea looked for the winning goal that would never come. Burnley 1 Chelsea 1

Leicester City continued their terrible form in the new year as they were comprehensively beaten 2 nil by Swansea. Onyinye Ndidi played the entire game while vice captain Ahmed Musa was stuck on the bench.


Carl Ikeme and his Wolverhampton side were beaten at home by table toppers Newcastle.

Ikeme faced two shots but failed to keep one out as they lost 1-0.

Sone Aluko was on for eighty minutes as Fulham edged out Wigan Athletic in an entertaining encounter that saw five goals.

Elderson Echiejile was dressed but didn't get a chance to play as Sporting Gijon beat Leganes away from home 2 nil.


Nigerian forward, Taiwo Awoniyi was in action for NEC Nijmegen who lost 2-0 away to PEC Zwolle.

Awoniyi was brought on for Jay-Roy Grot in the 42nd minute.


Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru, 19, was the hero for AS Eupen as he scored a 96th minute stoppage time winner to hand his side a 1-0 Belgian Pro League win over Gent on Saturday.

Gent paraded Nigerians Anderson Esiti and Samuel Kalu as starters while Moses Simon came on for Tom Mattson at half time.


Nosa Emanuel Igiebor and Bright Edomwonyi were both second half substitutes as they were brought on in the 56th and 77th minutes respectively.

Both players could do nothing to help Rizespor as they lost 1-0 to Akhisar Belediye

Ogenyi Onazi was on for the entire game as Trabzonspor won away from home.

Samuel Emem Eduok was on song as he helped his team to a 4-0 victory at home scoring in the 82 minute.

The former Dolphins FC man was substituted in the 83rd minute. Full-time Kasimpasa 4 - 0 Istanbul Basaksehi


Brown Ideye was on target as Olympiacos won in front of their home fans. The former Ocean boys and West Bromwich Albion player scored to double his team's lead in the other minute.

Ideye was removed in the 66 minute and the game ended Olympiacos 2 - 0 AE Larissa.
