Lobi Stars transfer list five players

Lobi Stars have placed five of its players on transfer as they begin preparations for the new football season.

Team Manager of the club, Barnabas Imenger told naijafootball247.com that they want to have a better season next year and will retain twenty five of their thirty players.

“Despite not getting a continental ticket, the team did very well in the season that just ended and in a bid to have a better season, twenty five out the thirty registered players will be retained, while 5 will be placed on transfer.

“We will boost the squad with five additional players in the departments they are needed. Plans are in top gear to kick start our pre-season training with a tour of a yet –to- be identified -West African Country,” Imenger said.

There was however, no mention of the names of the five players transfer listed.

Lobi Stars finished 6th in the League last season, six points behind winners, Kano Pillars.

Lobi Stars have won the League only once, in 1999 when they finished 4th at the end of the regular season but won the Super 4 play-offs against Iwuanyanwu Nationale, Wikki Tourists and Plateau United.
