Agbim happy with learning curve

Chigozie Agbim
Captain of Nigeria’s Homebased Super Eagles team, Chigozie Agbim says he is happy to be learning under Vincent Enyeama and Austin Ejide

Agbim is third choice goalkeeper with the main Super Eagles team and he told exclusively that his two years under the other two keepers have been worth his while.

“I have learned a lot from them and I must say my game has improved a lot because of tips I have picked from both of them.

“You know both of them have been in the national team for a very long time and I cherish every moment I spend in camp with them,” Agbim said.

Chigozie Agbim continued that he is not in a hurry to take his football to Europe but will wait patiently for his time

“Europe will come when it will come. For now I am just happy with my game. I am not in a hurry to move to Europe even though I agree it is every footballer’s dream.

“I will just take my time, though and see what happens. For now, I am focused on seeing how far I can go with the team at the CHAN and then the World Cup,” Agbim said.

Chigozie Agbim has had a topsy turvy campaign with the Super Eagles at the Championship For African Nations, CHAN, currently going on in South Africa.

After horrible first two games where he conceded four goals, his forme picked up from the final group match against South Africa which the Eagles won 3-1.
