Warri Wolves must be more prolific, says coach Aigbogun

Warri Wolves head coach, Paul Aigbogun says his strikers have to be more prolific if they must finish higher than they did last season in the Nigeria Premier League.

Warri Wolves currently lie in third place behind Sunshine Stars and Dolphins with four games left for them to play and coach Aigbogun told naijafootball247.com that they just need to score more goals.

“We have always played well this season but the goals have been difficult to come especially away from home but we must keep at it even though the league has just four games to go for us,” Aigbogun said.

“When I joined Warri Wolves, the target for me was to finish higher than we did last season and so far we are on course to achieve that.

“I know a top three finish is the ultimate because that way we play in the continent next season but like I said, I promised to finish higher than the team did last season and the club finished in 6th place so anything above that is good enough for me,” Aigbogun said.

In their final four games of the season, Warri Wolves have two road games against Sharks and Niger Tornadoes while they will be home to Kano Pillars and Gombe United.
