Nigeria to attack Cameroon

Super Falcons head coach, Eucharia Uche will tell her players to make sure they convert every opportunity to score a goal in Saturday’s Olympic Games qualifier against Cameroon.

The coach, who has been emphasizing on beating Cameroon with high goals margin said she was confident her ladies will win the match, adding that converting every chance created, will give the team a big win in Abuja.

Committed to avoiding the goals draught the team experienced at the last World Cup in Germany, Uche spent quality time drilling the strikers on the art of perfect finishing in front of goals and proper positioning of the strikers in front of opponents goal area.

“I am confident we will beat Cameroon here. But my idea is to score as many goals as the chances we will be able to create. I know we can create the chances; I want to avoid what happened at the World Cup.

“We were not able to score many goals at the World Cup because the strikers cold not convert the chances that came their way. That is why it is imperative that we improve on both the positioning of the strikers for effective conversion of chances,” she said

The Falcons also tried out positioning of defenders against free kicks during the training session.
