Nnaji wants NFF probed

Enugu based lawyer and former sports commissioner in Enugu state, Ray Nnaji says all Executive Committee members of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF since 2006 must be brought to book over fraudulent charges.

Nnaji told naijafootball247.com that the NFF have been illegally receiving money from the National Sports Commission and must be made to pay back what they have stolen.

“They must account for money given to that illegal body. That name was created by Sani Lulu but did not get the backing of the Nigerian Assembly and they should not be getting money meant for the NFA.

“It is tax payers money and they must account for it. The National Assembly can make a pronouncement, but until they do, the name remains illegal.

“By the time I’m through, I will go to the Federal Ministry of Finance and the National Sports Commissioner. There must be justice and I will fight until we get it,” Nnaji said.

Nnaji says he is behind Harrison Jalla of the National Association of Nigerian Footballers, NANF who recently insisted that the NFF should no longer be running Nigerian football since they are an illegal body.
