Ace broadcaster, Ibitoye pledges 1 Game support

Ace television sportscaster with Channels TV, Toyin Ibitoye says he will from now henceforth pledge his support for 1 Game, the campaign against violence and other vices from stadia and viewing centers.

Ibitoye told 1 Game’s China Acheru that he had watched 1 Game from afar and tried to understand fully what it was all about before making his decision about the project.

“You know, I now have to applaud all those behind this 1 Game initiative and I will tell you why,” Ibitoye said.

“My first daughter loves football so much and I always wish I can take her to any Nigerian stadium so she can have a feel of the atmosphere in a football arena but I am always scared to do that because you can never predict what will happen at such an arena.

“With 1 Game, I believe our stadia will be safer and our football will be the better for it. Everybody well meaning Nigerian should embrace 1 Game,” Ibitoye said.

“My name is Toyin Ibitoye. I work for Channels Television. I have decided to be part of the 1 Game campaign. Let us play football without violence."

Ibitoye now joins a huge list of football commentators and pundits whose involvement in 1 GAME has further propelled its call for an end to violence and fanaticism in football.
