After helping his club ( Granada) gain promotion to the Spanish La Liga last week, Odion Igalo (In Pic)has arrived at the camp of Nigeria’s Olympic Football team.

He registered his presence at the camp of the team on Wednesday morning as they continue to prepare for Saturday’s All Africa Games qualifying match against Ghana in Benin.

“I’m fired up for this game. I wish I was here for the Tanzania game but I followed the game under pressure in far away Spain.

“All the same we give glory to God that we have gone past the Vijana stars,” Odion

Odion who is on loan to Granada from Udinese also added that

“I promised Austin Eguavoen that I would be here for the Ghana game. Now that am here I cannot wait to begin training with the team. We all know that Ghana is a difficult side and we are ready to give our best to get victory on Saturday.”
Similarly, former U17 team striker, Chrisantus Macaulay arrived the camp same day as Ighalo after he was handed a late invitation for the Ghana game.

“I am happy to be here. It’s been a while I have been in the national team and I cannot wait to give my all to ensure that we over run our perennial rivals, Ghana.”
