Zabaleta: “Argentina have more quality”

Argentina’s captain, Pablo Zabaleta believes they have more quality than Nigeria's Super Eagles.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference in Abuja yesterday, Zabaleta said he acknowledges the physical side of the Nigerian game but it won't matter in Wednesday's international friendly match between both sides.

"The Nigerians are strong, in fact maybe stronger than we are, but we have more quality and we will use that against them when we meet," Zabaleta said.

He added that the strength of the Nigerian side was in set pieces as the team tries to score from free kicks and corner kick which the Argentines will try to stop.

Coach of the side, Sergio Batista (Pictured above) leads a rookie team to Abuja, Nigeria’s capital and he says, he may not have had enough time to train his young side but is confident they have all it takes to give the Nigerians a good match.

“After Tuesday’s training, I will finally confirm the team that will play against the Nigerians but I must say that we have not had enough time to train.

“I have only trained for two days and it is not enough time to train but we will do our best. It is football and we have to live with the fact that there are not enough days to train,” Batista said.
